Are AI girlfriend conversations private? What to check
Understand public profiles, stored messages, guest access and account controls before chatting with an AI companion on MyFittys.
A private conversation screen does not mean no data is processed. An AI companion service needs to handle messages to generate replies, and may store conversation history and account information. Before sharing anything personal, read the service’s privacy notice and understand the available controls.
Public profiles are different from private chats
MyFittys’ public Fitty profiles contain fictional biographies, interests and game descriptions. Those pages are intended for search engines. They do not contain your messages or account history. Opening a public profile does not reveal another visitor’s conversation.
No sign-up is an access feature
You can try MyFittys before registering, but guest chat still needs processing and an allowance check. “No sign-up” should not be read as “no storage”, “untraceable” or “no providers involved”. It simply means you do not need to complete the registration form before the initial chat.
What the current notice describes
The MyFittys privacy notice describes account identifiers, messages, replies, timestamps, entitlement data and the use of service providers. Payment-card entry happens through Stripe checkout; it is not a reason to put card details into a chat. The notice currently carries a private-preview draft label and identifies details still awaiting confirmation. This guide does not resolve those missing legal or retention details.
Four questions to ask before sharing
- What messages and account details are stored, and for what purpose?
- Which providers process the conversation?
- What do clearing a chat and deleting an account remove, and what may need to be retained?
- How can you contact the operator about an unanswered privacy question?
If the notice does not answer something important to you, ask support before sharing that information. Do not assume end-to-end encryption, zero retention or a completed compliance review from an HTTPS padlock alone.
Practical boundaries for everyday chat
Use a sporting interest, an ordinary preference or an imagined scene to get started. Leave passwords, full payment details, confidential work documents and sensitive information about other people out of the conversation. An affectionate reply does not make the software a confidential professional adviser.
History and memory are not the same
A stored chat can contain more than the context used for the next reply. Conversely, a generated reply may sound confident about a detail it has misunderstood. Our memory guide explains those limits without promising that a character remembers everything.
